as clean air and pure water. At Main Architecture, we strive to make
every building we design, every space we plan, efficient, pleasing,
and life-enhancing.

Our commitment doesn’t end at the drawing board. From conceiving
a uniquely appropriate and elegant design solution to assuming total responsibility for bringing that conception to reality, Main Architecture stands with clients every step of the way. Clients come to Main Architecture—and return to us—for excellence in both the
project and the process.

Much is made of an architect’s ability to “listen” to clients. That’s a
given. Our job is not only to listen, but to empathize with clients’ hopes, to interpret their expectations, and to filter their needs through our experience and expertise, delivering artful and informed resolutions.

In Chicago, where construction codes can change almost monthly,
Main Architecture is a consultant to the City of Chicago Building Department. This puts us in a position to help develop codes, not simply react to them. Often, it allows us to know about code changes
a year or more prior to implementation, to the special benefit of our clients. And because Main Architecture is always on top of the latest materials, technologies, and construction methods, we can deliver a higher level of design and detailing, no matter what the budget.
